Location: hunting/fishing season
Fished last thurs evening with only 1 pike and a bass caught amongst 5 of us. My neighbour picked up 5 walleye on the weekend............Good luck!!

What are surface conditions like and thickness of ice? I'd like to take the kids out with me, but not if the walking conditions are tough.

Was out today, about 6-8" of fluffy snow (probably wont stay with this wind). Ice was about 10" where we were pretty much the entire scoop handle in the water before I got it under the ice. Only managed one pike and a perch.

I cant seem to find a suitable place to walk from there? That's in consecon right? I live close to there and have always wanted to try but the walk seems a little outrageous? I think I'm clearly a little misinformed as to where to park/walk from
