Can someone tell me what the outlet on the back of the unit in the middle ( between batt and ducer ) plugs is for??

I do not own a flasher but was pricing and looking at options, noticed the ice 55 is available as a combo, I believe the 2nd piece is a GPS mapping unit that can be used to store trip info, has its own display, my bet would be that the plug in is part of a interface with the combo unit.
