Quinte Fishing

Day 1 of 3,my nephew and I took the 3hr drive today and made it to Belleville, got minnows and found hotel and hit ice from 2-6 at point anne, one set line with minnow and jig, one rapala rattling clack and one rod jigging off bottom with a northland buckshot and live minnow....caught nothing! Was in 18 fow. Thinking denseronto area or cow island for next two days...really hoping to get the kid his first ice caught walleye. Lots of thick ice at Point Anne, hope denseronto and cow island will be ok with ice thickness while raining.

Was at cow yesterday got limit in 45 min from setting up in 14ft of water

How was the ice thickness? I'd like to try there and near fosters island this evening and tomorrow morning. My only concern is ice thickness with all the rain (I'm currently sitting in my hut watching the ice holes decay as it rains...I keep checking thickness every 30 min with tape measure. Caught a perch so far lol)
