Watch out for manholes

Just a reminder to everybody watch out for manholes.... fished Sat in the rain and you would think your hole was a toilet bowl flushing .....went back Sun and a 8 inch hole became16 inch , and if you drill 2 holes together like most of us do for vex it can become a very big hole so watch out you don't go for a dip
PS We got some branches to mark the holes ....hope everybody does the same

It's crazy what the water does to the holes. My one hut is an 8x8 and has 8 holes drilled under it. Went out today to block it so it wouldn't freeze in and all the holes had connected making one really big one! Ended up having to move the hut and block it again!

fishing big bay last night all the water was sittting on top. No flushing toilet bowls but lots of water on top. 2-3" in most places and a few where it was almost 6". Had to find highspots to set up on or you were in water.
