Sorry for the late report but I just got back on line. Sorry I missed you Superdad. We(6 of us) got a load of walleyes all on spinner/worm rigs. Some weird things happened in that out of about 100 walleyes almost none were caught before 6pm. And not one after 9pm. Very few people fishing, even on Saturday. Many, many under 15 inches which looks great for the future. We did not get any in one of our favorite spots, Mallory Bay. The hot spot was Sherman's point from the red buoy all the way back to the easternmost cottage. Depth of 12 to 18 feet trolling spinners very S_L_O_W_L_Y was key. 3/8 ounces of split shot 18 inches in front of the spinner. We kept enough for 2 fish fries but we all left with the feeling tha the bay is loaded with fish. We also caught about 10 sheepshead so even tho there was a die-off there are plenty left. Also got some very respectable perch. What a world class fishery !

Hi John
It sounds like another good trip for you and your group. I've always enjoyed fishing in the evening when it's not so hot....larry
