Up and gone before first light with the float rod packed in the car (I felt no need for the auger) Got as far as Belleville before work shut me down and never made it to port hope!!!!
I was assuming the entire river got blown out of ice with all the rain we got on the weekend. There is still a small window of weather before river flow slows down and freeze up will begin again.
Has anyone been down and/or seen the river conditions? Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks
Cheerz Gordo

I'll take a look tomorrow from the train as I pass by the Ganny.

Toronto Boat Show - just to look around and talk to some people.

There was one fisher near the open water, which is a distance from the parking lot.

The beach west of the mouth has ice, looks like 8 feet high.

Beach fishing is TOAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
