Hey guys and gals. I have a 2 man flip hut and was wondering, when fishing Quinte for eye's, if it's better to fish seperately (about 15-20ft apart) from your buddy or if fishing in the same hut with lines only a few feet apart is better? Obviously you are covering more water if your fishing apart but in it's a heck lot warmer if your in the same hut with a heater. lol.

When the fish are biting it doesn't matter where you sit. If they are not biting you may as well have them sit closer so you can tell your fish stories to them. GL

I think if marking fish it's important that the "other" line remains quiet while you entice the bite... it's interesting to watch the fish if not real aggressive.. They will go back and forth checking out both dinner options. If I go fishing with a buddy it's good to be together as the assassin says and tell stories.

I fished with a buddy In my hut as he had no flasher and it was fun but tricky to tell what lure the fish was after found if one guy stayed near bottom and other about five feet up but overall slow bite so it was good for story's

Thanks for the replies everyone. I was asking because a friend and I were gonna try our luck this past Saturday and I knew that weather conditions wouldn't be favourable so we would both be in the hut. In the end between the weather and then him telling me we would have to be back to Hamilton by 4pm, lol, I decided it wasn't worth it. Probably a good decision as from what I heard there were many accidents and the hi-way was closed at one point.
