Any issues with Polaris ATV's?

I have a pair of Suzuki's. 02 500 Vinson, and an 06 700 king quad. Had the 02 since new and the king quad for about 4 years.
The Vinson has had new rear brake pads, and oil changes. I have a 60" snow plow on it, and have plowed my 200' driveway and spread topsoil on the lots of 3 new houses.
King quad has a lift and 27" tires. Oil changes only.

After purchasing both I have become Buddies with a guy that grew up as a mechanic at HB cycle, which sells all major brands. He has 2 king quads, and says that the Suzuki's spend the least time in the shop by a large margin...

Just my 2 cents... Keep in mind near by dealer support too.

One small problem, 10 miles in the bush by yourself, is a BIG problem.
I am not a betting man. So I go Honda for reliability.

I have 2009 Polaris 500 HO I bought new in 2009. I have not had any issues and I have put it through some pretty rough stuff.

I have a 2006 450 Polaris, and a 2007 500 ho Polaris , lots of miles no problems , just keep up regular maintenance , oh , just 1 thing , those fancy aluminum rims leak air when it gets cold

might be just a dirt problem though.....

I have a 07 Yamaha 450 Kodiak, leveled off 6 tonne of 3 inch minus in the barn yard, back-filled a 100 foot well line trench and plowed massive amounts of snow in my 370 foot driveway. I have only changed the fluids and filters. It truly is bullet proof. I wish they stepped up their game on the side by side because it looks like the Kawasaki Teryx is my next purchase.

My 2011 Polaris 500HO is treating me great. Starts and runs awesome even in the most inhospitable conditions.

I have a 2002 700 Twin.... It has cost me some money this year (Solenoid, stuck needle in the carb) but has been pretty good considering it has a pile of miles and has plowed a lot of snow, hauled logs, gone through many mud holes and been rolled over a couple of times lol!!! Oh and it needs a new exhaust, but it sounds kinda cool, like a Harley lol

It doesn't mean that you wouldn't have problems with Honda. They are certainly a little more reliable but if you are looking for a used one, better do a good inspection and possibly invite someone who is experienced in ATV repair.
