heading from Kingston to BoQ for 1st time in a few years. figure I'll go to Point Ann and roll the dice as the ice is typically the thickest there. Can anyone recommend the best bait shop to go to, given I'll be driving from Kingston along the lake?

Brown Bear bait and tackle in Bayridge would be on your way (they had some small muds when I was there last - not sure if they have other types of minnows). I am not familiar with any of the bait dealers on the south shore; however if you search some of the previous threads I have seen similar inquires.

Moons in deseronto has minnows I believe , that's on your way to point Anne from Kingston. But if you want some good quality minnows I know staci at pro tackle always has plenty. If your willing to go out of your way that is.
