Is it possible to get a bike due to all the big drifts? Also what are the ice conditions at the deseronto bridge?

I am hearing it is open at the bridge, and the snow is huge.

I don't understand how the bay has so little ice or is "open" in spots. I live just below one of the locks and dams on the Trent river and we have minimal snow drifts and over 18 inch in most places even with heavy current. I have been jigging from my truck window on 20" over 18 fow for weeks now
