Still headed up to fish the bay this weekend despite cancellation of the battle and the weather. We haven't had a chance to get up that way yet, so not going to give up. Can anyone out Thurs. or Friday tell me if it's worth trailering the bike up, or its boots all the way.

What's the word guys, bike or boots?

Thanks,

Bruce

I would definitely say boots .... was out yesterday and there is no way a quad would get through the regular snow let alone the 4ft+ drifts. Was a tough walk as well but when its the only option ya gotta put up or shut up....lol. From what the weather man is saying it looks like even more snow coming to deal with so just add that on top of the existing and I think you are sewered for the bike. Good luck. On a side note, you wouldn't be the Bruce Ogilvie that used play lacrosse would you?

Yep been quite a few years since I played major but still get out quite a bit to play both field and box. That's when I'm not fishing that is.. Lol. What years did you play, my last year of major was 97 in Peterborough. Small world man.

I was out on shermans tonight with the bike. Stuck twice but i easily pushed it out. Snow wasnt to bad there and if i wasnt hauling so much gear and i had decent tires i wouldnt have got stuck.

Take care and have fun fishing Mike
