Quinte Fishing

Hi guys

A big thanks to everyone who participated and helped with our 2014 fish and fry on Sun Feb 2nd. There was 235 tickets sold and 65 fish weighed in. Which was a grand total of 234.29lbs of fish that was cleaned and cooked for everyone. Grand prize of a Frabill Predator (valued at $1000.00) went to Nick Brook with a 5.55lb walleye. 2nd prize of a hummingbird 386ci combo unit (value of $500.00) went to Randy Robins with a 2.59lb walleye. There was also 45 ($50.00) random draw prizes given out as well. Kiwanis Walleye World also donated 15 hats and Adult tickets for this coming Walleye World fishing weekend in May.

Again thank you to everyone who came out and a huge thanks to the guys that helped cook, Filet fish and help organize.

Had an awesome time again this year. We were fortunate enough to catch some fish in our third spot me moved to at 10:30, punched 3 holes and had 5 fish on the ice in 15 mins. Just got lucky. Already can't wait till next years. Great idea of serving the food so everyone got some, I even had seconds......lol. Great job!!!!

thanks stacy,it was a good event! i did not get a fish to enter but it was one good fish fry and thanks to Dave (paro) for doing a great job as the cook and to all the volunteers for the work they did to make it a great event!! cant wait till next year (hope i get a fish to enter...lol) thanks again

One other thing,

For the 15 guys/gals that won a Kiwanis Walleye World hat and Derby ticket. Please fill it out drop it off here at the store.

Don't forget that the junior tickets are free this coming spring. The Juniors have to register directly with Kiwanis Walleye World just prior to the Derby. They will have more details when they start advertising the event.
