That's dedication! Roof rack is another option. Or if the car has a hitch, I built my buddy a rack that fit in the hitch of his sunfire and it held his 2 man frabill trakker. Installed tail lights and everything! There is always a way my friend!

Just call Dave Thompson in Wellington. He has a saws all and access his old mans tools and he can make any hut fit into any car. I have seen this with my own eyes. He currently stuffs one into the trunk of his Cadillac..

I used to drive a honda civic si & had the same issue. I had a clam scout that wouldn't quite make it into the trunk. I solved it by removing the nuts & bolts holding the tent pole brackets to the sled. I replaced them with thumb screws & wing nuts so I could undo & reinstall them by hand. With the bracket removed I could fit the hut in the back & have it assembled again in a 10 minutes upon arrival. Not sure if this will help but it might!

Tight lines.

I can fit my 2-man Nanook in the trunk of my wife's Chevy Cruze, so the Kenai should easily fit in most cars I would think.

I have a small Mazda Protege hatchback and the rear seats fold down in it. I can fit my Snow trek 60 sled fully loaded in the back with the rear drivers side seat folded down and still have half the trunk to put in other stuff. I only fold down the one side as my sons car seat is in back all the time. If it was not there I could probably put two fully loaded sleds in there. The sled is 59" x 24" x 11¾" (150 cm x 61 cm x 30 cm). I use to have a VW golf and it also had the same folding down seats. Look at a hatchback they are great they have the convenience of a small car but easy to get a big load in to.

Just get the truck. It solves any problem. I had a truck 2 years ago. Unfortunately now between my wife and I we have 2 mini vans, yes that's right two of them. Miss my truck everyday. Just to justify the minivans, I am also a father of two.

I have a ford focus wagon. I have a rover 1.5, and a 2 man trekker. I can fit both in the car (not at the same time though), with a power auger beside it with the seats down, and all my gear. Not sure if that helps
