Hi everyone,

My name is Steve and I'm a new member to this board. Im looking forward to meeting all of you on the water this year. I have never fished Quinte believe it or not especially since I've driven past it for mega years on my way to the Land O Lakes region. I am a retired guy who loves fishing, has his own bass boat , love billiards, don't mind fishing in other people boats and will be joining you in the up coming tournaments. Unfortunately I have to do some driving unlike most of you since I'm from Kitchener.

Welcome aboard, am new also only fished the bay a couple time on the ice with no luck yet.
It will soon come I hope, will be goiing up on the 21,22,23 of February. I also have a bit of a drive pretty much next door to ya, Elmira. Maybe we can get together some day and hit the bay.

Welcome aboard,
If you like fishing tournaments then make sure you check out the Quinte Fishing Series. They run 1 walleye tournament the last weekend in May and then 5 bass tournaments throughout the summer. Its a very well run series with a very competitive but friendly bunch. The amount paidback in cash is among the best in the province (relatively speaking).

Welcome aboard Happy Man, may i suggest sending a private message to Grizzly. He knows the bay really well and is always looking for people to join him for a day on the water or ice. Super nice guy and loves to chat fishing and can answer most questions you have about the bay.

Once you start on the BOQ you will be ruined for anywhere else! We make the journey from Guelph so I know the drive you speak of really well!

make sure you check out the many years of historic posts available on this forum! I can't say enough good things about the people you encounter on this forum and on the Bay!
