Quinte Fishing

I am not much of a lure changer. I could go out on the ice with a few buckshot spoons, a few Swedish pimples in various sizes and a pail of minnows and be content all day. Electronics and those 2 lures are all I need. I do like to move though, and a gas auger helps for this, I do have an ATV, but when snow conditions dictate I can't take it, my backup plan is snowshoes. Not as easy as the bike, but definitely better than sinking down into the snow or slush, and cursing!

To tell you the truth, when the season first started, I put a bunch of money into new lures and gear. Well, I didn't have any luck with all this new gear I sunk money into (lures mostly). I went back to the basics and stopped worrying about oh should I be doing this, what am I doing wrong etc.. and to my surprise I started catching walleye. I think I was trying way too hard, and as silly as it seems, I think I actually was trying to hard
