Well we decided to head up and try the afternoon bite and am I ever glad we did , we fished around wagers after making the brutal walk out we were set up fishing by 3 and I had my first walleye bout 5 lbs at 10 after , by 4 had limit and ended up going 11 for 12 on the night , lost a drag peeler ! Bite seemed to shut down right at dark ..the 4 of us iced 21 , love quinte !

Good for you guys. We took a gamble on Huffs this afternoon. Not a bite. Not even a solid fish marked on the flasher.

Looks like the fish have started to move closer to the spawning areas.

I find this very hard to believe as i was there all day with 2 other ppl and not a bite.Also CO came around and said the same thing no one catching.

well better believe it we went out last night again set up by 2 and we got another 16 I also got my personal best 11.12 lbs !

Thanks guys appreciate it .. Were fishing from 17 to 20 feet nothing any deeper ,took 2 minnows yesterday instead of just the one the day before !
