Have tried many times unsuccessfully fishing Lake O through the ice. There is a reason why you don't see many huts out there. Today I finally got into some. With the cold winter, we finally had some new opportunities to capitalize on. We were late getting out and after a tough ride out on the quad, got fishing after 2pm. Within a few minutes saw the first fish come on the flasher. they were chasing aggressively and had a few bumps before finally getting one on, a nice 5-6lb laker

Not long after had another aggressive follow and hooked this beauty 10lb laker, great fight through the ice.

My wife took a video as well

she had one on as well but lost it

I don't let w little ice get in the way of my trolling. I just chainsaw a 200' trench, mount the rigger off the back of the quad and get a nice 2 mph troll going :D
