Hi all, just wanted to share with everyone my second trip to the bay. My friend and i arrived at the motel Thursday February 13th in the evening. Got up early the next day and was fishing Bayside by 7:30 am. Immediately marked fish but no takers. In the evening we tried Huffs and didn't even mark a single fish. Saturday morning was spent at Bain but nothing again. Saturday night was spent at County Shores but nothing. We decided to take Sunday morning off to recover a bit from all the walking and sled pulling we did. Sunday night we went back to County Shores but nothing again :? . Now we are getting worried. The smell of skunk was getting really bad and we only had one more day to achieve our goal, we needed a walter. We decided to give Bayside another go in the morning and in the evening but our efforts would not pay off. So what did i learn from this experience... I WILL be purchasing a snowmobile for next time lol. All in all, my friend and i had an awesome time and we are both humbled by this experience. Til next time, tight lines everyone and good luck out there.

Bones

Don't feel bad - I did this weekend around your same areas and ended up with one fish, one lost auger, and one lost cell phone. But just like golf, no matter how bad it looks, we'll be back again.

It has been a slow time for many, I've spent some long days on Wellers lately with very little to show for my efforts. But 1 day we had a BBQ and some laughs and the other day was running and gunning with some great guys.

It's all about getting out and having fun, fish are just the bonus
