Came in tonight up the trail by the cables and headed up towards the Dew Drop. Auger head popped off the sled. Took a look and then kept going to drop the girlfriend off. Came back and someone must have picked it up. I hope it was to try and find the owner. Yellow 3hp Jiffy, almost brand new, and it belonged to a co-worker. I know where it was and 6 of us scoured the area so I know it's not still there. If you found it, please send me a PM. The fishing sucked, I dropped the phone down the hole, and hopefully I didn't lose the auger head as well. Thanks.

Well 3 days later, posts on Spoonpullers, Kijiji, and here and nothing. I hope whoever picked it up feels good about turning my $500 weekend trip to Quinte into a $1200 trip. I'll be keeping my eyes open everytime I see yellow augers heads from now on and I'll be keeping my eyes on Kijiji and Craigslist for a good long while. Good luck the rest of the season guys, see you in November.

Sorry about your luck man. It's hard to have to go back to a friend who lent you something and tell them its lost or busted. My buddy Burt left a borrowed 10" jiffy in a snowbank. He got home 20 min later, realized it and headed back. Of course it was gone. He put the word out and got it back about 10 days later. I hope yours turns out like that.

Keep checking the net, not only for someone selling a powerhead, but looking to buy the auger part as well.
