Well after trying twice this past weekend at Bain with my dad, first on Saturday daytime, and Sunday evening and catching nothing both times my dad has headed back home, but I have not given up. I am determined to hook into some eyes before the end of the season. So next Saturday (22) I am heading out early morning to Wager's to fish the shoal. Anyone interested in heading out?

Who would have guessed it...more snow on the way and a little "warmer" weather this week, but conditions still look favorable for saturday. So if all goes well- it will be an early morning on the ice. All the best to anyone who can get out during the week, I envy you (I'm stuck in my cube for the next few days.)

I am planning the same thing. I just hope that I don't need waders to walk out on Saturday morning.

I am hoping most of the snow on top, well what's left anyway will absorb the brunt of it. Here's to those die hards that will still make the trek anyway!!!
