Well after being out on the ice the last three days, drilled hundreds of holes, put more miles on the quad then what I normally do in a year, got stuck many times and all I can say is nothing nada. We fished anywhere from 22' of water to 12', on the ice at 6:00 till 5:30ish. Called it quits today at 11:30 and decided to make the 4 hr drive back home before the crappy weather. Saw two bleeps on the fish finder and got teased by a couple of perch. A total skunk this year, so no Quinte eyes came home with us this year. Only seen 1 walleye caught on the ice and it was not even big enough to take a picture.
It was still better being on the ice other than being at work on a good day. It broke up my winter blahs until the big boat comes out of storage, all ready booked solid for spring pike charters.
I managed to bump into a guy from this forum Walleye ???? (Larry) It was a pleasure to chat with you and a special thanks for doing the Subway sub run for us so we could stay on the ice......greatly appreciated.

Well that just snuffed out my thoughts of a limit this weekend! lol.

Just kidding, quinte walters can be a bugger at times. By the sounds of things everyone's having the same luck as of late. And agree 100% a skunked day on the ice is still better then a great day at work. Cheers and good luck next time out.

We tried every piece of arsenal we had in our tackle, even went as far as using a pickerel rig with the biggest minnows on it. Hooked the minnow so it would stay alive to keep swimming around on a tip up. It was just not our time to catch anything.
With the amount of rain forecasted, it's got to be very slushy out there.

Good everyone and play safe out there.
