Quinte Fishing

now that walleye season is coming to an end looking to head to the St Lawrence between Ingleside and Long Sault for some perch action.........just wondering what the walk out was like as the bike is under the weather.

Drove by Hoople creek today on highway 2 , Lost Village perch derby was on . Tons of trucks on the ice south of the bridge.
Roadway plowed from the west side of the bridge out towards the east. shouldn't be a bad walk.

Was out at hooples creek for the derby yesterday. One pike caught at 9lbs a few small pickerel and lots of perch. Strange to have 300 people fishing and only one pike caught. Lots of water on top of ice so make sure u wear rubber boots. About 22-24 inches of ice.
