Quinte Fishing

Hey, I'm sure this comes up every year but I've heard different answers & want some clarification. Walleye on BOQ closes on the 1st. Can you fish on Saturday (March 1st) or only until midnight on Friday??? I want to call the MNR for clarification but thought I'd ask here first. Thanks for any insight & tight lines to all!

u can fish march 1st until 11:59pm

ALL outfitters/resorts in BOQ that I've talked to in the last 2 days say YES - it CLOSES March 1st at 11.59pm that Saturday night

it states up to and including march 1st .

Yup, the fishing regs list open seasons, so you can fish up until the end of the last day listed. As Shark said 11:59 pm on the first is the end for quinte eyes.

NY State fishing licence for Canadians is $70 - and they expire end of Sept?? think that's a bit 'ruff' given most of the fish are North of the Border lol

well i end up paying more than that because your government came up with a money outdoor card. our license is still 365 days
