I got your private message about what I was using. Maybe next time introduce yourself and be more pleasant...I have no problem helping guys out, just hate the one liners in the mailbox. I have been doing good from jigging spoons weighing anywhere from 3/16 to 5/8oz. I let the fish dictate the size. Colour has been orange, and green buckshots, jigging raps or equivalent have also produced. Same colours. Gold mr champ has worked. Glow lil fin has been really my go to for early morning. Fish have dictated either just minnow head, or one minnow, or sometimes two minnows. I hook my minnow thru the head, and try to just have tail of minnow touching bottom and start my jigging approach from there. Hope that is a good start for you. One good rule of thumb that has worked for me, and maybe im just lucky. Overcast = glow or bright colours. Sunny = Gold or silver..
