I've been skunked all winter long!! Going to head out Saturday for one last go. Hopefully I can break this goose egg!!! I've fished shallow, I've fished deep, massasauga point, onderdonks, wagers. Nothing nota. One fish on and one fish lost it. It's been a very frustrating year ice fishing. But hopefully Saturday will be a good day and end tge season on a good note!!

As much as I would like to fish with a flasher, I fish blind. Perhaps I will save up enough to buy a flasher for next year.

I havnt caught any monsters this year but got a few each time out the only thing that seems consistant is a non aggressive approach close to bottom like no more than a foot n a half jig once pause 10 to 20 seconds jiggle a bit then repeat, scale down, only use heavy enough lure to fish verticle and only one minnow hooked to sit horizontal to the lure this has worked for me without a flasher good luck
