Made the annual late Feb trip last wknd with my 2 bros and 4 buds. After a last minute bonus Lake O laker trip Friday morning :D we headed to Deseronto around 3:30pm out from the park in 22' of water on 5-6" of crappy white ice, no wonder nobody else was out, we got 1 - 3lb eye. Saturday we slushed out at Huffs and moved around in 26' - 33' of water on 12+" of ice, lots of brave souls out, we got 6 small eaters, 2 whities, I lost a good eye at the hole and the wind rolled my clam with me in it but I only broke 1 of my 4 rods . Sunday we fished Hay Bay out from Sheman's boat launch and moved around in 25' to 27' of water on 16+" of ice, we got a few eaters, a pile of jumbos and 1 - 6lb eye. Tough weather and a tough bite but that's fishing and as always we had a blast and look forward our next trip. Cheers
