guys, relax.

the "record" is not a world record...

everyone makes "new" forms of records...ice fishing record, live release record, etc.

there is only one record.

thats the one where you kill the fish, weigh it, and if your the highest, you win!

biggest fish i've seen caught in a few years was by Sweet Walleye .... just under 16lbs...

all other fish are "nice fish".

but there is only one record. Patrick Noon caught it in the Niagara River in 1943.

The rest are just "nice fish".

I caught a new world record today. I now hold the 15 lb samurai braid with a number 14 barrel swivel with 12 lb berkerly vanish on a johnson gold slimfish size 5/8 while jigging left handed with 2 minnows and listening to ziggy marley while wearing a fladen rescue suit and cabelas size 11 boot in a supershak hut with a mr buddy heater and a 20lb propane tank while smoking a sheriff cigarette. The fish was 14.73 inches long and weighed nearley 2 lbs. Pics to come pending verification

Let's get a few things straight bud

It's "reaper" I joined cause I'm tired of this guy playing everyone he can.

If grants reading which I'm sure he is shut me up where is the pic of the measuring tape and fish?

I do alright on the bay

A quick look at your posts and you are nothing more than a grant promoter. Turn about is fair play

That is an awesome fish , good job !
It may or may not be a world record but one thing I am certain of is that there is a world record sized fish in the BOQ . In the late 90's I saw 3 fish I would say were considerably bigger , and I lost one at the hole that still makes me sob to think about !

I didnt google the rules, I'll take your word for it. Assuming you are correct about the rules, in my opinion, those records dont mean much as I completely agree. Anybody can lie about the details and get their name on a "world record". I am not saying Grant did that. No lie detector test, no picture of fish on ruler, nothing to verify proof. Seems pretty wide open to abuse.

Thanks for letting this one stay open Dan, everyone has their opinion. I still dont know why you catch a world record and then 3 weeks later you realize it (unless your 15 or 16 years old)..... Smells fishy is right ....

I also witnessed Landshark's remarkable fish. I believe I may have been able to top him but unfortunately I was fishing blind while he and Grizzly were cheating using flashers. Great fishing with you both again. Grizz, thanks for helping me get out of the driveway!

It's rather interesting. I was sipping some vodka straight last night and it occurred to me I myself caught a 37" walleye 2 years ago it was January the 9 ( this must be a good day for fishing) and it was 1:30 in the middle of the night, my friend Rodriguez Dominguez wanted to get an early start because he had been keeping track of noise pressure cracks were making etc and he had noticed this was the quietest time anyway back to my story we caught this 37" fish weighed it and taped it with a certified Home Depot 25' tape measure. We decided to use the Home Depot tape measure over the lowes because we were working towards a pro staff position with them! We thought it would be kind of nice to have our huts decorated like a nascar you know m&m's Home Depot gmc petro Canada, george jones ; we were listening to george in the shack so he kinda helped us out. I also watched several fishing shows the week before on a Panasonic plasma . I think it would be pretty cool hut idea.

In all the excitement to merge nascar and ice fishing we must have forgotten about the 37 " fish. Now I'm very excited to go fill out the paperwork with my bic blue inked pen on my ikea desk and send in my form with twenty bucks. I'll have to get a hold of my witness as well.

Life is great #winningatlife
