now that walleye is finished, where is the best place to go for perch?

They're everywhere, but I've heard good things about the Indian Island area SW of Trenton.
I'll be fishing Rice Lake and anticipating the perch to be on fire.
I may even get down to Bewdley for some crappie. It's been a slow year on Rice so far, but I think the best is yet to come.

I was hooking into some jumbos just off big island/wagers. Honestly had waaaaay more luck catching jumbos than any eye, and now the year is over for eyes and I didn't even catch one- so here's looking forward to May. Now its time to hit up the lakes around home, like Rice, Chemong, and any of the other ones around here. Bewdley is great, especially if ya get hungry and Rhinos always has great wings and beer!

thanks for the info guys, perch are the best eating fish anyway just more time consuming to clean,as long as the bay isn't a fish sanctuary now that walleye is closed

I cant do this in 10 seconds as it says but after a bit of practice I can now do this and also filet it in about a minute.

would LOVE to find a good perch spot...or even a hint at one...i know george st can hold a few and ive pulled a few out of bakalite pt....anyone know whare there at...they seem shy this year

Havnt got one jumbo lots of little ones. A few years back trident pt had amazing jumbo perchin

That,s the method i use. unfortunately it takes me a little more than 10 sec. and u don't loose any meat.

Try off Big island at Wagers in 3.4-3.7 meters of water- they seemed to be pretty consistent despite the fact I was aiming for walleye (wasn't deep enough for eyes)
