Save yourself some cash and buy the walmarts!! They're made by Johnson controls. I've been running the dual battery 12v setup for years and the energizer have held up mint!! 2 batteries for under $250....

likely wont help those in central / eastern ontario, but Interstate is located in stoney creek and sell directly to the public.

i buy new batteries every second year due to the cold weather chewing up my batteries.

you can get two new srm29 interstates for 260 cash - no tax.

and yes, interstate batteries are the best i've come across...and have likely used a half dozen different brands.

Go to Magnacharge batteries at 660 Justis dr and get a Trojan battery. Lots to choose from at a decent price and a good battery.

Agree, I buy batteries all the time from them for my clients APC units. Great products, great service and great prices.

Steve...would you know of the address for Interstate (or general area) in Stoney Creek?? I live in Oshawa, but head out that way sometimes. I've been using the srm 27 for the last five years or so, and love them. I still use the one I bought 5 years ago, and still works perfect, and I bought a second one about 2 years ago. As I stated earlier, I'm paying about $180/battery. $260 for two is a great deal!!!!

Thanks!!

Just go to Walmart and get an EverStart Maxx and make sure it says made by Johnson Controls . Johnson Controls are the same company that make Interstate, Optima, Bosch and most other brands of good solid battery's. Check this out and go and read their joint ventures and business units. These EverStart Maxx battery's made by Johnson Controls now have a 9 year prorated warranty, 4 more years than an Interstate.

I have 3 Optimas in my boat, 2 D31 Blue's and 1 D27 yellow... all 5 years old, no problems whatsoever. I use these right up until freeze and they have never skipped a beat.... i would highly recommend them if you can afford. If your like me, i never got 1/2 way, but always spend the extra... sometimes, its the stuff you can't see that makes them a little more expensive. I recently load tested all 3 batteries and they are all still strong after 5 years work....

good luck
