I bought a couple last year, but never really gave them a fair shot. Just like a lipless crankbait (rattlebait) they throw off a lot of noise to draw fish in from a distance. I've also heard of guys using them on open water for smallies. If Big Jim says they work, they have to!!!!! :wink:

I jigged up a 1 lb sheepie on one 2 yrs ago at slam the lamb.

On a 8'6" trolling rod. Tricks of the trade lol
