I second that... I turned Fourty last weekend and had not ice fished in 25 - 30 years. I met Tyler Kurt one day by chance fishing from shore in the fall and he told me about this site which led me to the ice . I have been out 20+ times between the bay and some back lakes and caught a few nice walleye, a few lakers and lots of perch and it has been the best winter I have had in years. Heading for crappie this weekend and then going to try for some splake again next week before the ice is gone. It has been good for the soul and also for the health, I don't have any health issues and am not over weight but yesterday I was shocked when I was able to button up old pair of snow pants that I use for snowblowing the driveway that I have uses the belt strap on for the past five or six years to keep them up. I guess dragging that sled across the ice is good exercise,
