First off I have to say thanks to the folks at Radioworld and offering deals to the baord on select items. This winter we have seen some great ice on the lakes, and some great fishing (despite not hooking into eyes). So I've read the posts, and yes flashers are great but I grew up fishing 'blind', but after some humming and hawing, I decided to purchase an Aqua Vu micro from radio world a couple of weeks back and it has been the best decision (I think) for fishing electronics so far for me. This little camera has opened up my eyes to the underwater world when I can't don my scuba equipment. It is amazing, the clarity is excellent, and you can quickly spot the fish down there- or not. Weed beds, structure, all come into view and it has certainly helped me put my fair share of panfish into the freezer!
Best of all, I am now looking forward to if and when soft water season comes along to check out the bite during those warmer months. My fish finder tells me there are fish but now I should be able to see them too (best is I can drop the small camera through one of the scuttle holes in my kayak as I fish)
So if you are looking for a neat little camera, its got my vote! Now to upgrade at some point to the underwater retrieval camera from Aqua vu!!!
