CLOSA will be holding it's first meeting of the new year this Wednesday at the United Church in Carrying Place (Old Portage Road, east at the lights in Carrying Place).

We will be hosting a repersentative from the Glenora Fisheries, a presentation on the pen program and the general state of our local fishing habitat will be discussed.

Everyone is welcome!

Mentioning the Pen Project, will are also sourcing Volunteers to participate in the feeding program. Contact myself or Trannyman1 to add your name.

We will be hosting our annual Silent Auction and Fish Fry in June (date to be determined) we are also looking for volunteers to help in this event. Please contact me for further info.

Hope to see you there!

Just to add to Gene's post. The guest speaker will be Andy Todd, manager of the Lake Unit at Glenora. Andy will be giving an overview of Salmon and Trout stocking in Lake Ontario.

A must if you have questions about Zone 20.

Al

Count me and the boys in again for feeding. Wednesday late afternoon would be best for us.

Al, can we make sure the cage is tied in good this year. I don't feel like water skiing behind it again this year LOL!

Very informative meeting as usual. I would like to thank CLOSA for the invitation to attend and also would like to thank Andy Todd for a fantastic presentation. Any of you guys out there that are looking to support a club that is very involved with the future of fishing I would highly recommend CLOSA.... Thanks Again... Fred.....

I was at the meeting as well. Really a lot of great info, neat to see how much work goes into the stocking program. I became a Closa member last year and really think alot of the members who invest so much time. I own a plumbing business, some rentals, four kids and a lovely wife-running kids to hockey, ski hill the Y, Soccer, basketball life is busy!! Then we need to hunt and fish a little - so a big THANK YOU from the Triemstra family, to the members of Closa, for making our fishing trips to lake Ontario so successful!
