I've been learning the centerpin technique for steelies and it is a lot of fun. Got out on the Salmon River in Pulaski today and got into some. Here are a few pics. Fish were taken on both egg sacs as well as pink Berkley Floating trout worms.

Fishing doesn't win when The Orange play. ;) I had to wet a line to get rid of this cabin fever. I'm normally 10 days into trolling browns

Sweet Mike. Looks like tons of fun. Trying to get out on Lake O to do the same but the wind just won't cooperate.

I hear you about the Browns, we're two weeks late also.

Waiting for HEAT and some north winds.

That is awesome. When I was in Niagara I used to head across the border to float fish a couple smaller creeks for those. Miss that. I heard a lot about the Salmon river. Was that a guided trip or did you take your own boat? Been tossing the idea of doing a day trip and hitting the shoreline. Gotta buddy who had done it a couple times a few years back.

Very nice indeed. And really great to see a picture of a boat in water, not stuck in the ice.
Can you explain the centerpin technique a bit more?
