Well after plowing 8" of snow from my driveway today. I had to climb in the boat and sit at the helm for a bit just to remember what it feels like.

Won't be long and we will be trolling this area.

Any guesses on where this is?

Look at that beautiful little trough between the structures. I bet the walleye are all ready stacked up in there waiting for me.

Close but no cigar. Scott's shoal is shallower then that, in fact I can attest it comes up to about 1.5ft on the top of it.

Here is Scott's shoal.

That's getting our thoughts to shoals and stuff......

We'll see how late the spawn (if it's late at all) and where do the mamas go after they've completed their natural cycle.

Everyone is anxiously counting the days and watching the snow banks and the ice.

I know the feeling Scott! I usually get my boat out of storage the first week of April and then finalize plans for our annual "brownie" trip which is my spring "shakedown" trip. Don't know when that will be happening this year and its damn depressing - LOL.

Took a drive there on Sunday and it was opening up in the middle. Lots of broken ice too. A good north west wind should clean it out.

It isn't Dentyne, but it could be Wintergreen.

Lol. Jeff has it. As does catcher.

Not Sherman's.

I suppose it is north of the bonnet but it is in the Bay not on Lake O.
