Hey guys the OMNR are stocking the browns in the Wellington channel today at approx. 3:30 pm.
With the long drive give or take a half hour if you want to see them go in.
They can't go into Athol Bay because of solid iced in conditions there.

I am heading up about 2:30 with an ice chisel and shovel to see if I can get rid of the ice on the Beach St. launch.

Al

Wish I could be there Al. That sounds like fun.

Give one of 'em a kiss for me.

I'd love to be there to help out as well.

All I can say is a big thank you for the work you do with all the fish stocking. It is very much appreciated by us who fish the big Lake Ontario for trout and salmon and it wouldn't be as great as it is without guys like you around.

Dave

Can I have a half dozen to put in the creek. I saw one in the pond maybe 10 years ago, it was a bit of a surprise to see a trout swim by. The old fellows would tell of catching wash tubs full of specks in there.

Thanks for the update Al, Won't make the fish stocking.

From what you said Athol Bay is still plugged, any news that you can pass along to us is appreciated greatly.
