Just wondering how many carry insurance on 12 and 14 foot tinnys. What happens to the other $1800 in the event of a full field and what payout would be with less than a full field. With the proposed date you could be launching off 37 highway.

Is the tournament supporting a charity or service in the Stoco area?

Yes! All proceeds go back into the community. Organizations will participate in a fall clean-up along the municipal roads. Each organization participating will receive funding for their organization from the money raised from the tournament.

Maybe they could use the money to fill in the mini lake in the parking lot that has been there for years

We are actually putting fill in this spring. We are addressing this issue and fixing up the lot to make it a lot better than it has been for the anglers.

Registrations are starting to come in. If you want to sign up for the tournament, however, can not make it to Tweed right away. You may fax (613-478-6457) or email (rhardesty@tweed.ca) your registration form. You can put your payment in the mail.

One of our black crappie registrants caught a 16 inch crappie two weeks ago, on Stoco Lake. This is going to be a great tournament!

As there is no requirement to insure boats in Ontario( unless they carry paying passengers ) and most don't insure 12 and 14 foot tinnys you are excluding a lot of people.

That being the case I would hope that you would check any winners before distributing any cash.

Considering it will depend on water levels. If high I won't be able to get my big boat in and my 12 foot is not insured. If May 10 no as that is opening of Pike Walleye.
