I am the Brother In Law that Superdad mentioned with the StarCraft boat.
I love my Superfisherman 186. An excellent boat with a Suzuki DF140, great combination.
The dealer was no help at all after the sale. The Suzuki had been installed without the normal audible buzzer for malfunctions.
I had the problem rectified at a Suzuki dealer near Kingston. The original dealer 400 KM away would not come up with a portion of the $175 it cost me for the repair, even though any mechanic should have known it wasn't working when the boat was taken out for a test run at the Waubashene marina.
Beware!

Larry

Marsh's Marine is great. Sorry to hear about your problems but they are a first class dealer.

Thanks again for the help. I needed another rental boat and have been very happy with Starcraft. Unfortunately I needed one for this weekend. I bought a deep and wide 14ft Smokercraft from a local dealer. I'm not keen on a black hull. Dock rash and dings will really show up. Oh well. So far, very happy with it.
