I got called away and couldn't make it down. Would of liked to hear the winners story. That was a nice fish, almost 13.

I went Dan. The ceremonies were very short. More interested in what they were using (lure). Have no idea where they were caught except for the junior pike division. I only know this, as the first and third place winner in this division were weighed in here. Not near as many people were at the ceremonies compared to past years. Perhaps a lot of the anglers went home early because of the weather.

From what I understand ... Senior Walleye Winner was caught just behind the Kayak Factory (Old Edgewater Canning Factory) and weighed in here late on Saturday afternoon. He had just started a troll when it hit.

I know where the 6th place walleye came from. To bad it wasn't the first place walleye. Lol

Great derby I had a lot of fun and really enjoyed presenting the junior walleye prizes. I should have had the kids tell a little more of their stories. Sorry I didn't think of it at the time. Always fun to see kids get awards.

I was with the Junior walleye winner (and his Dad) when he caught his fish just off Thompson's point. His arms were so dead after reeling in 200 ft of line with a 9.4 lbs walleye that he couldn't even hold up the fish after. He must have checked the live well 50 times looking at his catch between when he caught it and it was weighed it in @ pefect vue.

Only two other fish caught on the weekend. Weighed in one for hidden weight and the other was for dinner on Sat night.
