Friday after work loaded the boat up and headed to deseronto with a couple of good friends. Headed up the reach into the mix of boats there and dropped the bottom bouncers down. The screen was loaded in fish from top to bottom and pretty quickly the fish were biting. For the evening 15 fish landed all of which were good eaters with the biggest a bit over 3 lbs. Chartruse harnesses were working well. Back the next day and was able to get 8 more before the wind made it near impossible to fish. Sunday morning was beautful as the wind had dropped over night and the fish were still there. Caught another 11 and Cymbals got 9. Ran out of worms and decided to try some trolling with crankbaits and boards up by shermans. Zero fish on the boards. We ran cranks shallow, deep and inbetween but nada. Bumped in to a few familiar faces including Mr.walleyes group and they were doing well on the bb as was everybody in the area. Talking with a friend that fished saturday morning on the flats at the back end of hay bay they managed 10 fish before the wind pushed them off. Seems like the bite is picking up. I'm hoping with the wamer weather forecasted for this week and next the trolling bite should start to pick up. Water temp was 56-58
