Well I've had the privilege of fishing the great Bay of Quinte for the last couple of years and learned a ton. Now I am moving to Washington state and wonder if anyone here has had the opportunity to fish the Columbia River. My BOQ fishing started off as a learning experience and has grown into a strong passion of walleye fishing whether it's spring, summer and fall fishing or what I now live for, ICE FISHING, it has been amazing.
I'm curious if anyone on this forum has ever fished in Washington state, particularly the Columbia river or the mountain streams and if so I would love to hear some advise, be it rainbows or walleye or whatever you had success fishing in Washington state.
I know that whenever we try a new area the tactics used in previous hot spots don't always carry over so if you've got some experiences please let me know.

Best regards and high hopes of returning to the great BOQ in a few years.

I have a friend that is a die hard that I met who fishes it. Always invited me out. you jiggy those piggies. . I should give him a call. They get bigger there then they do in BOQ.

Good luck with your new adventure, Washington is a great state with a good climate. There is a bunch of info out there, this would be a good place to start, http://www.northwestwalleye.com/phpBB3/
