Well, what can I say... After the mishap last weekend, we were out fishing Hay Bay and what a great weekend.. 38 walleye for our group (4)... Spoke with guys who have been fishing the Bay for years and we all agreed that the size and quanity has been incredible this year... Awesome weekend..

We didn't manage 38 but our group of 4 had 11 plus 6 bass returned to the bay and 5 pike. Not bad for 3 days compared to other trips. Best one was 26", almost all over were 20" plus.

Any insight on how to get them right now. A few guys i spoke to over the weekend said they were getting skunked in the Belleville and Pt. Anne area

We also managed 2 Largemouth and 3 Sheephead.... With the winds blowing as they were, we were drifting chartreuse or chartreuse/orange worm harnesses with the double hooks.. We had them slightly weighted about 3-4 feet with a walking sinker... As for where ?? look for the boats and you'll be on them..

Obviously Hay Bay and the Reach are on fire right now but from the looks of the fish being caught 4 of those aren't gonna win you any tournaments this weekend but will fill your freezer and bellies. Will be out all day Sat "prefishing" to find some big ones for hopefully they are still there Sunday. Frigging walleye........lol.

I was out for 5 hours yesterday and cought 1 Eye and 3 Pike and a *** load of Perch, started off by Sherman's, fished the flats by Ram and than over by Church. Counted about 16 boats around 6pm. Not sure how others did. Worm harness was the ticket.
