I took a days holiday and had one more go with the lakers this morning in the same area as a week ago. Again we targeted 30-50 FOW of water on both riggers and dipsys. Spoons again seemed to be what they wanted with black, green and gold all working for us. The action wasn't quite as good as a week ago, but we still hit quite a few. I named this one Sherman. At 34.5" long and a 24" girth, he was quite a haul to get in. Sorry, GPS coordinates not included :D

nice been hoping on getting out in wicklow to have a go ,but the walleye will not stop bitting.

...and not just any catfish, it's an endangered big bellied spotted catfish. :wink: :lol: :roll: (and that's a sarcasm, haha, oh brother face) meant as nothing but fun and joke and no personal malicious intent whatsoever. :D

BTW, I did try a run for browns yesterday as well but never had a single hit. I'm not sure where they are hiding this year.
