The Ayr Sportsman made our annual trip to Sunset Farms on Big Bay for the 28th year, and what a trip it was. Not only was the weather great, the family run folks at Sunset Farms gracious as usual, but the walleye fishing was simply awesome. The walleye average size was larger this year, with many fish 22" to 25". All the fish seemed fat and clean this year providing for some nice fish for the fry as well as healthy releases. Bottom bouncers and worm harnesses trolled or drifted in 17' to 21' worked best as the weed growth is behind this year. This is truly a great fishery, and cannot wait to get back again. :D
