Quinte Fishing

Awesome fish!!

Most people I talk to around here fishing hate catching these things but I love em we never had these back home and I have a hay day when I land them. I've only seen them swimming around that big though!

All these fish are monsters without a question, but why does the 2nd fellas fish look like it's been dead for a week?? Is that normal??

That was the second sheep I have ever caught (the first was about 15 minutes before that and probably weighed around the 10lb mark). I can see why they have a bad rep if you are judgmental about their appearance because I was too when I first saw it. However after I felt that thing pull and heard my reel scream I will take them any day!
I also found their stamina lasted a lot longer than a pike, it wasnt the usual 2 or 3 runs get it to the boat splash splash net it. These fish like to run and keep running for the first 10 minutes of the fight we made no headway. I had the tension to the point where I thought my line / rod was going to snap! (6lb test! )

I wondered that too it was awfully pale

Big Sheep for sure but no bigger than 20 imo. i've caught a couple in that range. Fun fish to catch. Congrats.

that is the Ontario record fish (or at least it was).

it was kept, and i believe that photo is in the evening, well after it was caught.

Monster I caught one 19.5 at the walleye derby last yr and that fish dwarfs it
