Well i hit the big water on Tuesday morning with my good friend Chris it was a awesome morning to go fishing we had the poles in the water and going at 6 am since the salmon are not in yet we decided to target the lake trout which it didn't take that long to set the hook on the first one i think it was may be 10 minutes or so then the action started to happen. We ended up with 1 double header all i can say is what a day to remember we had 27 strikes and boated the 21 st at around 12.30. We had to call it a day at that time cause the fog rolled in very quickly and Chris had a few things of his own to do that day too.I can't wait to target the salmon with him as well he really knows his stuff for only being his 3rd years doing this as well he taught me a lot also that day.I heard some great stories and caught some get fish who could ask for anything better! All were released except 2 nice 8 pounders and the biggest 1 was22lbs

Great fishing report Shaun, nice pic's, Congradulations. What time did you want me over
for fish and chips. Better yet smoked lake trout.
Donn.

Looks like you guys had a great time out there. Thanks for the report, glad to see they are still around. I might just take a run out to see if the salmon are around this weekend and if not, go have some more fun with the lakers again.
