We've caught and have seen loads of eels at Portsmouth Olympic Harbor in Kingston over the years.

If you walk down the far pier, you can sometimes see them wrapped around the structures pylons.

Being from the east coast we would spear eel thru the spring ice before they came out of the winter mud. one of the families favorite treats. deep fried chucks of chicken like goodness. yummm.

I used to get them at the marina in England but always had a news paper in my bag. Put them on it and they cant move as much. It soaks up the slime.

Caught two last year by the red marker off of Shermans point. Slippery little bastards and man did they make a mess of the carpet in the boat. They wont come in my boat again, i can tell you.
