We've caught and have seen loads of eels at Portsmouth Olympic Harbor in Kingston over the years.

If you walk down the far pier, you can sometimes see them wrapped around the structures pylons.

Being from the east coast we would spear eel thru the spring ice before they came out of the winter mud. one of the families favorite treats. deep fried chucks of chicken like goodness. yummm.

Caught two last year by the red marker off of Shermans point. Slippery little bastards and man did they make a mess of the carpet in the boat. They wont come in my boat again, i can tell you.
