I've been out on the south end a few times. Only saw 1 walleye caught between our group. Got lots of perch and some pike...don't know if there's public access. We paid a campground in green bay aread to park/launch.

Anyone know where you can get on the lake for ice fishing (public access)?

Was wondering if any of ya's have made it to Bobs?? I don't live far from it and have always wanted to give it a go. I do have a spot to park and get on the lake. I'm new to posting but am hooked on this board. Have only been down to the bay once this yr, but it was a terrible trip and ended father quickly as my buddy and his four wheeler went through. Did manage to ice two in the fourth mins of fishing. If any of you lads would like to meet up and try bobs I'd be game. Hoping to get back to the bay this coming wk if all works out. Cheers and happy fishing.

Sorry to dredge up an old post but I was wondering if anyone is fishing Bobs lake this year - how's the fishing?? Got a week to fish it coming up and any tips on hot baits/lures and general areas would be more that helpful. It's a huge lake!!!

just spent 5 days on Bob's fished it at night as this lake has a good night bite between 9:30pm and 10:30 pm just when the mosquitoes are bad there's only a 20min window when theyr'e hitting . My hot baits were deep dive rogue orange belly and the tail dancer clown . As for access I was at some friends cabin , but there is a public launch on the East end of the lake at Norlaw lodge .

Currently at bobs lake and caught 4 pickeral. The bass fishing is pathetic.... If you like large gills and good crappie this is a good lake. Really dissapointed in this lake. I dont recommend.
