The Central Lake Ontario Sport Anglers club Salmon Search Tournament was on the weekend with 20 teams participating.

A total of 5 salmon were caught from 5 am Saturday morning until noon Sunday. A lot of these team had some very good anglers aboard.

From what I observed after spending a total of 14.5 hours fishing and running 49.5 miles to and from fishing locations is that the salmon are not here yet in any numbers. They are not far away and basically out off shore feeding on huge schools of alewives.

With the south wind for the next 2 1/2 days may move the bait and the kings in closer to shore.
lets hope. On the weekend I received texts from buddies all along the north shore and it is basically dead with a few kings being caught.

when they are in I will up-date a report.

Al

Thanks for the update Al. I was thinking someone hid a banana on my boat! Glad it's not just me.
