Made it out to Wicklow today trolled from 90 feet out to Mullcaster patch the hole wait out we had a thermal cline 40 feet down marked a few fish but then as we approached the patch the thermal cline disappeared and within minutes we had a hit on a number 14 quick fish purple green flatline 200 feet out on a planer Board. Turned out to be a fish around 30 pounds weighted it 4 hours later on Rapallo scale 29.1 pounds. And I didn't have a ticket LOL. I didn't think I would get to fish much this year on the Biglake because my son is only three and I didn't think he would troll for hours without complaining. Turns out that he loves it in six hours of trolling and he doesn't care anyways after turning around we hit another 20 pounder 25 feet down off the Rigger matrix purple black white spoon. We ended up keeping both fish because we had not caught anything yet this year and we love can salmon

It doesn't get any better than that. Congratulations and thanks for sharing.

You have me wondering how you can salmon?

Thanks guys. Note I post no fake info and love to share so if anyone has any helpful tips to keep up with the fish would be great, success is the easiest way to keep the kids interested. Now I got to find some fish for my daughter to "catch" lol.
